The village has 2 main attractions.

The Friendly Inn Hotel - the big old pub which forms the heart of the village.

The pub serves lunch and dinner though the restaurant is not open every day or evening so best to phone first to check so as to avoid disappointment - 02 66291217

At time of writing the restaurant was open:

For lunch.....Wed - Sun

For dinner....Thurs - Sat

The pub lives up to it's name and makes for a great stopoff and refreshment point. The restaurant and leafy beer garden make a great place for lunch or dinner. The pub is normally pretty quiet but does get busy on a Fri and Sat night and is a great place to mix with the locals and watch the game.

The other main attraction is right next to the pub and is the Village Gallery - a local arts and crafts gallery and shop. A great place to browse and pick up some locally produced gifts and souvenirs.

These include :-

Ceramics
Candles
Incense
Lanterns
Jewellry
Wooden toys
Macadamia nuts
Oils
Jams
Sauces

Something for everyone

Across the road from the pub are tennis courts for the more energetic and a barbeque and picnic area for the not-so-energetic.

This sleepy unspoilt little village is well worth a look.

The next village on the list - Lennox Head
